Our Search systems

from November 2021

From the right hand side of the top menu bar you can make a General Search the site. If you then want to restrict the search toa particular field you can do so by selecting it. To search for an exact word or phrase, put it in brackets.

Within the Kipling Journal pages you can make a full word search of all the 378 back numbers since 1927, and browse or search indexes by subject, author, or number.

There is also a Themes database, accessible from the main Readers Guide pages, through which you can search for works that express a particular theme, are set in a particular place, refer to particular people or animals, or include other specific references.
